Sound the alarm because Santa Claus was checking his naughty and nice list in Hallsley! The jolly bearded man in a red suit made his way through Hallsley on Saturday, December 12th, and he traveled in style, on a fire truck!
Fire truck bells and whistles could be heard throughout the community as Santa made his way through the neighborhoods, spreading Christmas cheer! And, if you listened closely, you could hear his HO HO HO as he traveled to visit all the boys and girls!
Along with Santa’s visit, Hallsley held its 8th annual Toys for Tots toy drive! The U.S. Marine Corps also came to Hallsley on Saturday to collect all the toys to load the truck for Toys for Tots. Once again, Hallsley residents filled the truck to the top, helping to make this Christmas extra special for many, many others,
Heartfelt thanks goes to John and Brittany Toler for starting this wonderful neighborhood tradition 8 years ago to ensure no child wakes up on Christmas morning without a present! This year the Tolers have passed the torch to John and Val Waters who have stepped up to lead the Toys for Tots event for Hallsley!
