DesignLens, the real estate industry’s largest online library and a division of John Burns Real Estate Consulting, has selected Hallsley as one of the two top master planned communities of the year. DesignLens researches nationwide for real estate industry innovators and trendsetters and selected Hallsley from the more than 100 communities they had visited in 2016.
At Hallsley, East West Communities has demonstrated its experience in developing successful environmentally sensitive, master-planned communities with resort-style amenities. The developer created the Hallsley Residents Club, featuring a clubhouse with outdoor entertainment areas, waterpark-like pool, treehouse playground, playhouse village, tennis, sand volleyball, a 120-foot zip line, dog park, six miles of nature trails, fishing pond with dock, bocce ball, and full-time director to provide year-round events for residents of all ages.
The company recorded 120 new homes sales in 2016, and lead all other Richmond communities by selling the most new homes in the Richmond area (138) from September 30, 2015 through September 30, 2016, according to Integra Realty Resources-Richmond, a real estate advisory firm in Henrico County. Additionally, the community recorded the highest average price — nearly $610,000 — among the five top-selling communities and sold 50% of all new homes over $1 million in the greater Richmond area.
