Nine homes in Chesterfield County’s Hallsley community, located in the Village of Midlothian just 20 minutes from downtown Richmond, will be opened to the public Saturday, June 4 through Sunday, June 19 for this year’s Homearama.

Richmond Homearama is a home tour featuring fully decorated designer homes sponsored by the Home Building Association of Richmond and this year’s show marks the 11th year for the event to take place in the region.

“Homearama will be held in Hallsley for 2016 and we couldn’t be prouder,” said Daniel Jones, East West Communities vice president and project manager for Hallsley. “Nine new homes will feature some of the best custom builders in Richmond, along with amazing interior decorating ideas, trends, colors, architecture, and innovations in new homes with an emphasis on unique new designs and creative use of space.”

Featured homes are priced from $950,000 to more than $1 million and seven are still available for sale. The home builders represented for this year’s event include: Bel Arbor Builders, Biringer Builders, Inc., Falcone Custom Homes, Homeplaces, LTD., Homesmith Construction, Perkinson Homes, Ray A. Williams Custom Homes, Southern Traditions, and TimberCreek Building and Design. These dream homes also include amazing rooms and hot trends like an indoor slide, sweeping curved staircases, backyard putting green, wine cellar, steam room, media centers and stunning outdoor living rooms.

This year’s Homearama will benefit the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation. ASK was founded in 1975 by a group of parents in the pediatric oncology clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Today, ASK is Central Virginia’s largest provider of support services for children with cancer and their families.
