Hallsley February Happenings

Watercolor Paintings

Broadfork Farm is coming back to Hallsley on Thursday, February 11th at 7pm for those of you who were not able to make it last Sunday. Meet the owners, Dan Gagnon and Janet Aardema, and learn about how they offer their vegetables through a CSA program (CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture). Through a CSA, community members invest in their farm financially in advance of the season and then receive a share of their harvest throughout the season.  Janet and Dan will provide a glimpse into their daily farming life, talk about why they do what they do, what makes their vegetables better, and tell you how you can enjoy their delicious vegetables on a weekly basis delivered right to Hallsley!  Some of you have already signed up to become CSA members, but we need at least 20 to make delivery to Hallsley a reality! Look for a more detailed email from Broadfork Farm to follow.   Please RSVP to residentsclub@hallsley.com for Thursday’s presentation.
